We're not always the lowest bid

The old saying "you get what your pay for" applies here. A higher bid may be worth the price in better materials, workmanship, and reliability. A license is not an endorsement of quality work. It provides some financial protection for you, the customer. You can verify any contractors' licensing status on the internet at www.contractors-license.org. Ask your contractor for proof of liability insurance or the name and number of his/her insurance agent to call and verify proof of coverage.
